La Piramide Park
Enjoy an 111 KM drive from the city of Mazatlán (approximately 2 hours), passing through large tunnels such as the “Sinaloa” that is more than three kilometers long and a show of impressive bridges like the “Baluarte” with majestic views and certified by the Guinness World Records as the tallest suspension bridge in the world, you will find the entrance to the “La Pirámide ” Park, located on the highest part of the Mazatlán-Durango highway in the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental.
Via Ferrata, rappel and Zip Line Once equipped, will start the circuit with a beautiful nature walk of 800 meters to the base of the most famous monolith, icon of the park and for which it receives its name “La Pirámide”.
The route consist of an ascent of 165 ft in vertical with more than 200 staples, bridges and shelves that are part of the equipment of the Via Ferrata. The guides will give you instructions on how to make the progression of ascent and descent safe and without setbacks. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the landscapes along the crossing to the Summit.
To descend there is an exciting rappel of 115 ft and 700 meters flight over the treetops, on the longest zip line of the state of Durango.
